Well, friends , I seem to have knocked onto the same "little" mixed up text problem mentioned a few threads back. Needless to say I got it fixed by re-patching 
. The trouble is that fixing one problem caused another 
. See, for a while I didn't mind it routinely rememberring that it's the fourth button on the start menu that loads. But just lately I finally got annoyed and desided to get things done my way 
. During the reinstallment of the 1.22 patch the computer asked me if certain proceedures should be performed on a few files. I naturally assumed those were the troublemakers and agreed. But now when I tried to load an old game played with the messed up 1.22 it flashed three errors saying that there were DataIO Operation System Errors on DATE, CNSL and PLGI. So now the only way ahead is with a new game. But that was a really great savegame 
(sneak peak: the Roman Republic musterring together bands of legionaries and catapults to enslave the Incan Empire and resttle the foreign nationals into dangerous jungles to gather dyes and diamonds for roman joy while sicking ancient cavalry, curtacy of the Statue of Zeu... eh... Jupiter 
on the aztecs further north and preparing a fleet to spread conquest beyond the limit of the coastline to lands afar... how's that for a story, eh? ) so I was wonderring if it's possible to fix the problem with the savegame this time. If by any chance somebody comes up with an idea how or simply wants to inform me that it's useless and I should kiss the romans goodbye
