thin arms and legs of a skeleton

hello. the FF2 skeleton looks like a skeleton. when I put the skin on the captain's model, the unit gets slightly fatter. tell me how to fix it / how to lose weight

I expect that the dds is just being fitted to the model, which is a bit “fleshier” than the skeleton. If you wanted to, you could go into Blender and play with the 3D model to make it thinner.

I’m not sure what you are trying to accomplish though. Do you want a skeletal captain that looks like other skeletons? It seems like a lot of work to end up back where you started. I don’t see the benefit.

You could assign different kfm to a skeleton to make it move differently.
If you want a skeleton that looks slightly different, you could edit the dds, and use it with the existing skeleton model.
There are tutorials on giving a different weapon to units. You could use that approach to get a skeleton with a different look.
