Thumpper's “Return of Player Picks the Map” 4 Player - Free for All Elimination Tournament
Monday Night at 8:00 EDT. 10-06-03
Two - 90 minute Rounds

Here are the Maps!
(They are too big all together - have to do in sets)

Remember !- The Lowest Seed Player chooses the Map to be played on! He may be democratic about it or a tyrannical despot! It’s his choice! He can choose from any one of the maps and is not required to tell you which it is!
Don’t worry, you’ll figure it out after a few turns!

Maps have standard rules, with two changes:
1) No Unique Military Units (No Jags, Impis, War Chariots, Immortals). Civ specific abilities are on so choose your Civ carefully (Industrious workers are faster, Religious build cheap temples, Expansionists have scouts...)
2) Building any Wonder will trigger a Golden Age.

Download, study the maps and strategize.
Place the maps in your CIV3PTW Scenario directory.
Open the map with your Civ3xEdit (in CIV3PTW folder) and reference it during the game.

In this tournament, every player is guaranteed a fertile start location, adequate resources/luxuries and acreage similar to other players.

Yes, I totally ripped off Skull Island!
I modified it slightly for better tournament play.

Actually Skull Island was the first scenario that got me interested in doing maps!

As a matter of fact, watch everything!
