Yes we know how. Most of anyways.
You know you can make up your own tribes, cities, titles etc?

You could have Supreme Ruler Smash of the Canadians for example ;)

We don't stone people here. Not anymore anyways ;)..we don't mind a smoke or 2 though :smoke:

Why ask people to ask you to tell them how to do something? Just tell them: edit the RULES.TXT file (save a clean backup copy), find the @LEADERS section, move any one existing civ down to the bottom and remove the middle number of the first group of three numbers, putting the same number in the same place of one of the two options at the bottom (Arabs & Incans), or inventing your own line. The same trick can be used to rearrange the existing civs into different color groups, so that you could have the French versus the Germans (both are in the dark blue color group) or the Americans versus the Chinese (both are cyan).

Does everyone know how to ignore English and make BBS posts that read like my 10-year-old niece's efforts on the instant messenger?

It is impossible to create a new colour, so there will be max. 7 civs. But is there a way that you have for each colour more than three civs that you could choose? -> need help !

You could always edit (or have multiple copies of) rules.txt every time you play the game to give you the option of another civ that isn't standard, which is almost the same as giving you 4 options when creating as new game.

For any particular CIV2 game you can only have 3 civ options for each color, for a total of 21 options not counting Barbs (red). This is controlled by RULES.TXT, so you can change the 21 default by editting RULES or swap multiple versions of it, but not within a single game. Be careful to preserve and restore the original RULES.TXT, because all of the community games (GOTM, Democracy, Succession) are based on the default version.
