OK, finally the game has been played. Lots of micromanagement and adjustments due to the contact with CDZ. And lots of new information.

But first, this is our beloved mainland Fanatica. It looks beautiful.

BTW, we need city names!

Our JT peeked out of Chrys on the mountain and had spotted the wounded CDZ galley near the shores of the iron island:

There is another CDZ galley, on the eastern shores! In-between turns, it has been attacked by 2 conscript barbarian galleys, survived the attacks losing 1 hit point and was promoted to veteran status! Also, our warrior has successfully lured barbairan horsemen in his direction so that they would be closer to our advancing JTs.

This is our new budget, we are making decent gold per turn. With a few markets in the major cities, it would be even better.

This is powergraph. I nice layout for now. If we can continue like we do atm, it will be a very good game.

hehe. An ETA on when it will be played?

Provo, at what turn would the City of Canal need to begin implementation? I feel we should poll it soon so that the DP can start carrying out its orders.

The save is working perfectly.

I have also taken the liberty to make a little report:

C3B has sent over 18 gpt accepted. They have also disbanded their Warrior in our lands.
C3B is now in Anarchy, and our Military is still weak compared to them.
I am also convinced that C3B only have one Iron hooked up. There is another one on the western penninsula, no way there would be a third inside their borders.

CDZ has nice surrondings for their capital. Grassland and plains with river and one Cattle and one Food bonus.
CDZ's ship is not seen, but I am willing to bet it is west of our island.
CDZ is in the Feudal Age, but we are able to trade them Monarchy (if they would ever be interested in it...).
They are a Republic and we are Military weak to them as well.
They have more Culture than us (173 to 235 city, 247 to 297 total).
Land area is in their favour as well, but not much. (7% for us, 8% for them.)
Population is 19% to us and 25% to them.

May I also add that the latest movements on the Power graph is in our favour. :)

My 2 cents. (addition to Cheetah's)
  • We can get The Wheel in 3 turns at +53 gpt (30% sci).
  • Our FP takes too long to build (44 turns), we can use the production better.
  • We have 30 units and are allowed 32 units. With more cities and bigger cities we can get it easily upto 40. That means about 50 gpt can be used for trading.
  • Zoi will riot.
  • With lux 20%, sci 30%, tax 50% we make 48gpt. With lux 10%, sci 30%, tax 50% we make 53gpt.
  • Khazad Dum can build a settler in 5 turns by using a plains instead of a coast. It will get 1 less beaker, but research isn't harmed.
  • We need between 57 and 60 beakers to complete The Wheel. Minimum research time = 3 turns.
  • Assuming 1 of the 2 other teams fought and 1 team researched / funded, and the comparison in score and landsize I expect CDZ to be the researcher. This is good for us.

As expected, prices for the Wheel has dropped. I have not yet looked at the save, still stuck at work. Also need to verify whether FortyJ screwed up or not while playing the save.

Any info from our new Embassy to CDZ which has to be used while playing this turn?

Akots, good job on maxing out the science slider, my compliments :)

I've established contact, but haven't given nor received information. I did greet them warmly and invited them to "festivities". They are very eager on a chat soon; I've replied that we are also eager to chat. And I hinted we are making a list of what we can offer CDZ in trading.
I asked them about where their ship is. I hope to know that soon.

Would this chat commence in Dutch only, or is there room for a scandinavian who has forgotten most of his 5-year german studies? :)

The ship has to be west of our island.

Please do not be mistaken. I am not a politician, I am basically the hired qualified (probably enough qualified) turnplayer and this is my compact with CFC. It is my job to do the things right and to prevent the things from being done wrong. So, I would appreciate in the future, it I am treated not like CoIA but rather a turnplayer.

I guess you are not familiar with the previous discussion of the subject and want to turn this game into personal fun and excitiment. Alas, the honor of CFC is at stake here. So, for me it is not the fun and excitement, it is either the win and advance to the finals or loss. The latter is completely unacceptable.

Therefore, I find this comment from you rather inappropriate. I have also done around 20 other adjustments to our economy which you could have noted if you had the required qualification and which worth attention substantially more than the simple and evident slider movement. Since I have prepared the detailed turnlog to send to FortyJ so that he can play the turn, I'm posting the micromanagement part of it here. Note, that this is the preceding turn. This turn it would have been slightly longer.

Micromanagement started.
21. Citizen in Fanatazuma working irrigated grassland switched to clown.
22. Citizen in Savannah transferred from mined grassland tile (NE from city center tile) to that irrigated grassland. Savannah makes +4fpt and 4 spt.
23. Clown in Fanatazuma working mined grassland tile (NE from Savannah city center tile). Fanatazuma making +2fpt and 9spt. Market there ready in 3 turns.
24. Citizen in Thunder Falls working mined ivory tile (W-NW of city center tile)switched to mined grassland tile (W of city center).
25 Zoi. Citizen working irrigated grassland without a cow on it switched to forest (E of center city tile) making +5fpt and 5spt for settler ready in 5 turns.
26. Citizen in Cheetahpolis working roaded plains tile (E of city center tile) switched to mined ivory plains tile (S of city center tile) for +5fpt and 3spt.
27. Borodino. Citizen working unimproved plains tile switched to grassland with a road for +3fpt and 2spt.
27. Charnel. Citizen from mined grassland switched to irrigated grassland for growth in 1 turn +8fpt and 2spt (Settler ready in 13turns).

Akots, you have me convinced, I stand behind you there. :)
I just stick with my military plans :)

I am sorry about the angling of my posts, but we need some creative exchanges, and hopefully these will not stir to many emotions. :)

But great job in general.

And finally, the last ridiculous point. Below you can see the picture of The Cave (Wabbit capital):
