A few events happened this turn. First, our glorious capital has produced a veteran JT. The soldier is headed to Charnel where he will arrive in 2 turns. Second, forest chop near Charnel has been accomplished IBT and the town will produce a galley in 2 turns (this IBT and next IBT). The settler, a point of fierce polemics during the previous turn, has reached Charnel and will remain there for one turn, not a big deal IMHO.

Other things go as planned, SoZ ready in 6 turns, CoL will be researched in 7 turns unless we will increase the luxury rate mainly to keep the citizens of TF content.

Here is the picture of Charnel. The forest with worker has been eliminated IBT.

Here is the picture of our mainland. What should our capital build next? Another JT? Or spearman? Or warrior for upgrade to swordsman? Or an improvement?

Our boats continue to explore. Here is what has been revealed to the north-west:

And this is what has been discovered to the North. To put it short, I think that the territory available for expansion to C3B is about 2-times more or 2.5-times more than what we have on our starting penninsula. IMO, mapmakers of this game were very cruel. They felt it apparently and decided to compensate with ivory. But this SoZ indeed delays our growth. As for me, I would trade a decent food bonus on start for SoZ and KoT together as well as other ancient wonders may be excluding only the Pyramids.

Then let them know we are a small team, and that one's citizen can launch a nation into war

 we have the free-est democracy there is!

I'll try to be there next chat and make the situation clear to them. This is a case where the truth will help us.

I agree, but C3B has not explored the north so their citizens will never agree to it.

Must we take everything C3B says as fact???? Really... does anyone honestly believe that for the last 75 turns they've never sent a warrior to there north? That perhaps this whole push for a border agenda was about locking in area before we found out how much land they really have? They know exactly how much land they have to the north...

I'm getting more and more suspicious of C3B. I guess we still have to push for a working alliance to have any chance against the alliance on the other continent :/

We need the alliance with them to face the alliance from the other continent.

And iirc, they promsed to hurry exploring northwards on the chat, so they should soon know that they hav ealot of land, if they don't already.

Then we can push the border northwards, maybe as far as their current outhern border.
They will discover the island soon, though, and the island is decent sized, and will make up for atleast a good deal of their northern lands.
