Unable to get settlers from exodus gate.

I started to build the exodus gate in my capital then decided to build it where my biggest city was. I did not even put one turn into the exodus gate for my capital but I di select a spot. I finish the exodus gate near my biggest city and no one is coming out. I notice the Ai exodus gate is working but not mine.

I apologize if this is a stupid question, but did you select the Gate, and then click the action button to retrieve a settler?

If so, and it still didn't work, I would love to see the save to figure it out. Thanks!

I experienced the same thing. the "duh" factor is likely the action button. it's by no means obvious to me that I can see the button, much less click on it

Just keep fiddling with the button on top of the gate until it works

On the other hand, I only got it to work for one settler on one turn. It's pretty frustrating and I've closed the game to look around for a bottle of wine.
