Unit Building Problem

Hi guys,
I have Conquests. and every time I play the city automatically selscts the next unit without asking me. I have no clue how to fix this. Ive gone into preferrences and set the ask for build orders etc. It just happened all of a sudden. Any help?

In the preferences make sure you don't have "Always build previous unit" checked.

The preferences could have been changed when you take a save game from someone else, it uses their preferences.

i have that unchecked. It did start after I had dloaded a scenario......its bloody annoying, having to go through all my cities after each turn, thanks

Easy way to do it is to use your Domestic Advisor screen. You can click on the part that shows the production in that screen and switch production there. Also, you can Shift-RightClick on a city in the main screen, and change production from there.

But both ways can still be tedious.

indeed, but it used to be that it asked me after everyturn.... i liked that. not too sure how to fix it other than to uninstall reinstall...

As I recall, it's 'Ask for Build Orders after Unit Completion'. This, and 'Always Build Previous Unit' means that it will keep building those workers, but ask every time.

I have the first on, the second off, and it keeps building those workers, without asking.
