Unit design question??

I am ysing Gimp to design units is there a way to do it so this likke pink coloration will go away. And is there a way to do it without losing clarity.

Heres the pic. and the unit.

You can't tell from the unit pic but in gameplay theres this pink coloration at the bottom of the ship. How to I get rid of it?

While I go to try out the graphic, is it possible to post how it's appeared in the game for you?

Here's a screenshot of my problem. And lets nor forget clarity loss either. How can I fix THAT as well?
