Uranium HELP!!!

Hey all, I just got this game for X-mas and I love it!!

However, i have had trouble finding uranium...I know that you find it in mountains and forests and it is a green icon...however in the Pacific WWII scenario, i found all resources besides uranium...any tips?
(I even tried to edit the scenario, but the changes didnt occur ont he game???)

Also in the normal Civ game will all resources be avaliable on the map, regardless of size?

Ctrl+shift+M will clear the map and make it easier to see elusive resources.

I never play tiny or small maps, so it may be possible that a resource could be missing on those sizes. I think on a standard or larger map you'll always find at least one of every resource.

does that scenario reqire uranium? if not then they could have missed it out.

All random maps, regardless of size always have ateast one of everything

I'm not familiar with that scenario, so this question may not be applicable, but do you have the tech that makes uranium appear on the map?

Looking at the scen in the Editor there seems to be four Uranium resources; one next to Reno, one inland of Seattle, one between Hankow and Chungking, and one in Manchuria (some tiles NE of Peking). If you can't see them, it's probably because you lack the prerequisite tech.
