Yes it works for me as well. Thanks for the tip col. Should have thought of that. The framerate was noticeably different during the first time I played Warlords so you're right that they did something with the game. Right now since I set the max framerate to 30, it is somewhat annoying but at least it's playable now.

Well it worked for multiple sessions for hours yesterday but now it doesn't. I start seeing artifacts within 10 minutes and it eventually freezes. I give up on this thing. All my other games work fine so this is something they need to address.
