It seems that Warlords is crashing at random after playing for 6+hrs. There seems to be no reason for it, and it happens after doing differnet things(not exactly reproduceable). I have been in the room twice when it happened(my wife has been playing when it happens, not sure it is her, because Civ 4 never did it
). It has not happend to me... yet. I played for 7 straight hours after I bought it and it did not happen. system is:
AMD Athlon XP2000+
512 DDR 400(can't remember exacly I think it is pc2700)
ATI radeon 9700pro AGP with 128mb
80 gb hard drive(plenty of free space)
Win XP SP2 with DX9.0c and IE7
Nvidia Nforce audio built into the Asus A7N8X deluxe with 1008 bios
All drivers are recent except for audio
I'll edit when I have an error message to post(haven't been able to save one yet, but it is the same one everytime.) I hope I don't need new hardware...
Update: the error message is"Failed to allocate graphics memory. Please try reducing graphics settins. File:\Source\Main\Civ4\SDKs\Gamebryo 2_0\CoreLibs\NidX9renderer\NiDX9Source texture data.cjj, line 314." Any help is appreciated. Also can I cahange the title of this thread, I messed up when I first wrote it and it should be "Warlords 2.08 Graphics issue" TIA.
