The Hall of Fame staff is pleased to announce that Warlords submissions are now possible! After weeks of dedication Dianthus and Denniz have prepared the initial release of the Warlords version of the HOF Mod.

As such, we are reopening the old Beta tables for Warlords submissions. With the help of our players, we expect to iron out the mod and Warlords specific rules in preparation to open the permanent tables to the expansion pack.

Hall of Fame players wishing to make Warlords-Beta submissions don't have to do anything special, just submit them like regular games. As per the prior Beta, when Warlords is ruled eligible for the permanent tables any Beta submissions meeting the final rules will be upgraded. Until then, we expect (and encourage) discussion of the final rules in the forum.

So I have a question. If Civ4 (or Warlords) is patched, all the current and beta games will become invalid?

No, there's actually a good chance Warlords 1.00 submissions will make it to the Quattro tables, provided they match whatever we decide the final settings will be. Enough votes have taken place in the four poll threads that we may have decisions on those settings soon.

But my original question was if Civ4/WL got patched by Firaxis (like say 1.61 -> a future version in Vanilla's case) what happens to all the games?

We'd of course move up to the patch, but that wouldn't invalidate older submissions on the Quattro tables.
