Okay.. my first crack at making a map with worldbuilder for Civ V.
I would upload it... but the forum tells me that it is an invalid file.
It's a tiny map with 19 civs and 8 city states. I've played on randomly generated maps with this or similar setups that worked fine.
I tried starting the game in Direct X9 and X10/11. I tried loading up the scenario and stating as multiple different civs. I tried turning off other scenario MODs. I tried just starting a game with the map I made and not loading the scenario.
No matter what I did... all of the above ended with the same result. When I tried to start the game, I got to the intro screen and after that the game stopped responding and the map never loaded.
I tried creating another map in worldbuilder... a randomly generated one just to see if it would work. It worked fine when I started the game... though if I try to upload it here I'm still told that it is an invalid file.
What am I doing wrong??
