Can anyone explain what each of the columns are describing? I know some are obvious.

Thanks,
Kris

Which ones are you unsure of? I expect it would be either the culture :culture: one (culture/turn in city, followed by total) or the :gp: one (great person points per turn at present also followed by total).

The other stuff is current happy faces/sad faces, health/unhealthiness levels, beakers (research), gold per turn, food yield, food consumed. I think that's all but haven't got a screenie to check.

Thanks. Do the numbers reflect the city's constant output, or the output just for that turn? I've observed that the numbers have changed during the course of a game, but I'm not sure if that's because of improvements or not.

Thanks,
Kris

It's just that turn. Not sure if overflow is a factor in production (hammers) figures.

There are several other columns not mentioned here:

After the happy/sad faces and before food there is a person's head/shoulders (looks a bit like Riker off Star Trek TNG!) - what does he represent?

I'm also not too sure what the two "TOT" columns are actually totalling - does anyone know...?

:gp: This one? Great person points per turn (and TOT = total number of great person points)

There is also a TOT for culture too. :culture:

No, not that one - the great people one has already been explained - the other one, after the happy/sad faces.

Dunno then. Probably espionage if it is BtS. I've only got warlords.

Thats the number of angry/idle citizens in your city. And its always 0 angry faces <= happy faces, or angry - happy otherwise.

You should always watch this column carefully... if its not 0, then the city has some issues you gotta check. Also, if angry faces is close to happy faces, you should plan ahead and get some happiness (by resources, buildings, etc) ASAP, before you get idle citizens.
