Ok. So I bought Civ 3 a few months ago. There are no supermarkets! No farming anymore and no more huge 40+ cities I could get in civ 2. What are these people thinking in designing this crap? How am I supposed to win one city challenge now? and what happened to the trade? I used to win by building super science cities on deity with a huge pop. and 150+ trade in civ 2. my old strategy was colossus, copernicus, and newtons college. I do the same on regent in civ 3 and I am 20 techs behind and I lose everytime. Whoever designs civ 4 should make it easier for a player with just one city to win again. I think they should bring back the trade too but thats another thing.

One could think, that there would be a different approach: to adjust your playing style to the rules of Civ3... ;-)

Here's the crux of the suggestion for Civ 4. Balance the strategies of the game. Right now, expansionism is just too powerful, to the point of hurting any gameplay variety.
