Where to place mod files

I was browsing some of the mod threads on here trying to find a good post on where to place mod files and I found one that pretty much said to place mod files in the Conquests Game Data/Scenarios folder. Well, I have tried that and it doesn't seem to be that simple. For example, I downloaded the Midgard mod from the Creation and Customization forum on here and the PC users say to unzip it to that folder, but when I move the Midgard folder to the Conquests Scenarios folder and try to start the mod up under Civ Content I get an error saying something along the lines of that a text file could not be read and the game will now exit. So what now? Do I have to move the files within the mod folder to different folders in the Civ 3 Complete folder? I'm extremely confused and maybe it's the Midgard creator that made it confusing, but if anyone has downloaded that mod, or ANY mod designed for PC users and got it to work on a Mac (that isn't a .exe file/mod), please let me know what mod you downloaded and the steps required to make it work (as in where to put the files). Thanks to anyone for any help!

Alright, so as the case typically is, I managed to figure it out almost right after I posted this thread. I was putting the title folder inside the scenarios folder instead of just the contents. Meaning, using Midgard as an example, I put the Midgard_mod folder inside the Scenarios folder instead of opening the Midgard_mod folder and dragging the .biq file and the folder that contains all the data themselves into the Scenarios folder. So, I credit my ignorance and lack of patience to this issue, haha.
