Will lonely archer in a city attack my worker stealing warrior?

I have been usually playing on Noble, where cities early on are guarded by single warriors and my worker-stealing single warriors were not attacked by these single defending warriors. But now I play on Monarch, where cites are defended by a archer at the beginning. It is a high stakes game so I do not to ruin it. To steal a worker I will have to step on a non-defensive terrain next to a city where there is most likely a single archer. I wonder if they may be more inclined to attack since archer vs warrior odds are better than warrior vs . warrior. Looking forward to all the comments or experiences.

Even on high levels, AI usually don't attack if cities are garrisoned with 1 unit only. Depends on the character.... Sometimes they stay in cities with 3 archers because they are the coward, pacifist, defensive type.

Thank you, that is what I was hoping for.

It is super early on, before turn 20, and they already built a worker, since they start with only 1 archer on Monarch (right?) there should not be another one, I hope. Fingers crossed, will probably attack tonight :)
