Wireless Internet not working anymore

For the last two days, my home wireless network has not been broadcasting (on wireless devices, it doesn't appear on the list of available networks), and I can't figure out why. The wired network (which passes through my wireless router) is fine, so I don't think it's an internet problem. I doubt that it's a hardware problem, because nothing has happened to my modem or router -they haven't fallen, been mistreated, gotten themselves unplugged, &c. And can't be the devices that receive the wireless connection, since I have 2 of them, and they both work fine with other networks.
Maybe it's the phone. For a few weeks before my network stopped broadcasting, whenever someone called my house, the wireless internet would stop working, though it wouldn't disappear like it is now. Whenever this would happen, I would reset the wireless router, and the problem would be fixed. Could anyone please suggest a solution?

I don't know what kind of land and wireless connections I'm using, besides 'High-Speed'. My modem model is 'ADSL Modem VER170P ʀ', and my wireless router is 'Linksys Wireless-G Broadband router 2.4 GHz 54mbps WRT54G'. Thank you.

First off, just for your info, you have DSL. Secondly, it sounds like the router isnt broadcasting anymore. First thing I would do is see if some setting on the router that you could change. Something like turning the wireless antennae on or boosting broadcast strength. I would also check if the router can be seen from really close. If it can be, it means there's some strong interference in the area, and that pretty much means you're SOL.

No matter how close I am to the router, the Network doesn't appear. How would I change router settings? The only button on the thing is the reset button, and the PC the router's connected to doesn't seem to acknowledge it- when I search the network name or 'router', only text files with passwords appear. As for interference- well, there haven't been any new devices brought into the house lately. One of my wireless phones has been moved to another part of the house, but that was weeks ago.

You need to go to your browser and type in the router's ip. By default, most routers have it as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.

If neither of those work, go to start > run > cmd and type in ipconfig /all

This will list out all your network connections, with the ip listed under Default gateway being the router ip.

I typed in '192.168.1.1', and got an authoritization box, which asked me for my username and password. I put in the network name and password/keys, but it didn't work.
I've also found something in my 'Device manager', in control panel. The 'wireless adapters' '6TO4 Adapter', 'isatap. {a bunch of numbers}', 'isatap.{more numbers}, and 'WAN Miniport (SSTP)' display the following message:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Thats for that one specific computer.

You need to enter the router username and password. Find the model of the router on the back and look up the default password for it. Usually its some combination of "admin" and "password".

OK, I've gotten onto my router ip. There's no mention of my network, besides 'linksys', which never works. Does that mean my wireless connection doesn't exist anymore? In the 'wireless' section, I've disabled then re-enabled a few settings, re-enabled the router. No difference, though I guess that's no surprise, since I don't really know what I'm doing and looking for. What should I do or look for on the IP address site?

UPDATE: On my hunch that my network no longer existed, I reset it. Now, it appears, and devices connect- but the internet doesn't work. Apparently the DNS server isn't responding.
UPDATE 2: I seem to have just reset the old 'linksys' connection, but with a different name.
UPDATE 3: On my ip address browser page, in the 'status' tab, I found an option to 'connect' to the internet. I was disconnected, so I tried connecting. It didn't work, apparently I 'Can not get a IP address from PPoE server'.

FINAL UPDATE:):) : I have re-istablished my wireless internet. On my IP address page on my browser, using a linksys how-to, I managed to reset my connection by indicating what kind of connection I'm using and inputting my wired network's username + password. Thanks for the help!
