What's the craic with this function?
I'm specifically asking because I'm working on a BTS scenario. The gist is a Terra map, with the indigenous American civs starting on the Americas, each with a 'hero' - a strong attack unit, stood next to a pre-settled Barbarian city, named for each civ's capital and containing sixty Scout units.
The idea is the New World civs effectively get a significant 'latecomer' penalty, and stand no chance of founding the various Old World religions. (They probably won't build Chichen Itza, but that's a compromise I'm having to live with.)
Now. The heroes need to be capable of ploughing through sixty Scouts (and the odd Warrior; perhaps even an Archer). But, Spearmen are proving unequal to the task, even given March. I've concluded that Axemen are going to be the bare minimum for this.
But. The last thing I want is for Montezuma to have a lethal unit free for invading one turn after acquiring Tenochtitlan. Spearmen are one thing (all the Americans are starting with Archery and a bunch of other 'nomad' techs), but something that can easily kill a neighbour is too dangerous, especially if humans play as these guys.
So. My ideal solution to this experiment is having a bunch of City Raider III, March, Medic III Axemen, with a script on each of them causing them to self-terminate upon capturing a city.
Is that do-able?
