Worldbuilder: Map I've Been Working on Won't Load

Right, so, I've been making a custom scenario using Little Brute's Huge Europe map, but the map I was working on no longer loads. I've changed a lot in his scenario, but mostly only basic things. I'll try to be as thorough as possible (sorry if its longwinded):

  • I replaced most of his original starting locations with my own (most of which are for modded civs)

  • I've pretty much removed all the city-states and changed their names, some of their traits, their colours, and some of their artstyles. I didn't do this with a mod (which I imagine is a much cleaner, safer method) but instead edited the city-states' files directly. The city states I edited were a mixture of ones introduced by NACSM (v 11), so they have new traits, and vanilla.

  • Then I added starting locations for all those cities.

  • I also changed the names of some civilizations and their colours (only in this scenario), and set some diplomatic relations (e.g. some CS allies/some wars.)

  • Finally, I've changed the description/title of the scenario itself, the time in which it takes place, and the starting era for each civ (to Medieval.)

I noticed around this point that though most functions of the SDK worked right, I could not place cities. Whenever I did, the game would crash, and I would get the error report that I've provided below. Somehow, I can't remember how though, I managed to place a single city, Cordoba (from MC's Moorish Civ.) The problem seemed simple enough to ignore at the time, so I did.

Anyway, yesterday I began trying to add cities in. Someone who was experiencing a similar problem (which I assumed was limitted to placing cities) suggested a workaround: to simply resize the map. It worked, and I placed A LOT of cities, which took a lot of time. When I tried loading the map the next day, however, I got the same error report as earlier, and now my map became completely inaccesible. Sometimes, it won't load at all and go straight to a big red box with an X through it, other times it will load, with the map off-center to the top-left, and crash only once I try to drag it back. Either way, I couldn't get the map back - thankfully, I kept an earlier version before adding the cities.

So, I frustratedly put that off for later again and began working some more on cultural borders and renaming some more city-states. After doing a sufficient amount of work and exiting to see how it looked in the actual game, I found that when I attempted to load it back up in the SDK, the error returned, and this time I don't have any earlier versions. At first, I thought the problem was to do with cities, but that is clearly not the case, as the only city now is Cordoba (which hadn't given me problems earlier.)

Also, yesterday (before I tried cities), I noticed another weird glitch where every tile would be covered with units even though there aren't actually any units there.

I should probably also point out that the maps load perfectly fine in the actual game.

This is the report: (Note that it mistakenly says I use Win 7, but I have 8.1)
