I'd like to run a PBEM of the WW2 in the pacific scenario that comes with Conquests, unmodded, for just me and one other player. This would be a little more laid back, running about 3-4 turns a week, so we could expect it to last about 3 months.

It doesn't matter to me what countries we play, we could fight each other or cooperate, whatever. Let's talk about it. Any takers?

Maybe 3 players would be cool too, but I don't really wanna do more than that.

A good example would be the airlift function. If you can't take out the British in Burma in two turns or so, you'll have troops from Australia airlifting directly to mainland Asia. Give another 3 turns or so, and the Japanese advantage is lost.

And the Japanese could very well seal the game in 3 turns if the moves are played properly. For example, some games, I destroyed China before they could even get their act together.

So, the original WW2 Pacific scenario is a bit broken. Eric_A's Typhoon of Steel is a far better and realistic version of the WW2 scenario.

Well, that doesn't mean it's "broken," just that you think it's unbalanced. I have no problem with the scenario, have played it a lot, and would like to do a PBEM. It might be very short, but for a PBEM that isn't always a bad thing.

NOW, does anybody actually wanna play?

Well, if you want to proceed, I'll play you the game. I'll leave it to you to decide which side you want to play.

have sent you the turn, TechGuy. Let me know if anything is incorrect.

Anybody else wanna go one on one with me? I'm willing to take on another game or two simultaneously if anybody wants to.

I second that!!!

I wouldn't mind playing the TOS scenario again, but if we are to play with Version3 I would propose 2 improvements:
- Strenghten the Chinese Army;
- Give higher production to Commonwealth (more RR's in Australia and more developed terrain to speed up production).
