Xal's challenge #1 - Hippus

Hello,

I prepare serie of challenges for you. It is IMMORTAL 'play now' games, pangea, small size, normal speed. Load attached savegame and play!
FFH 2.32E only, please.

You can use whatever technique to win a game except world builder. Load as often as you would like.

When you win a game, share with us your story. Describe shortly how the game went, how you like it etc. Also post type of victory, _normalized_ score and year of win. Attach atleast victory savegame and one other savegame from some interesting part of game(somewhere around turn 100 typically)

First one is quite easy - Tasunke. I believe this is one of most popular leader so I expect big scores

Conquest win, Turn 180, N.Score 74792

At start I was lucky enough to found a tech in village hut - Animal Husbanry!
Before horses I researched just Ancients and Mysticism. When I preparing to invade Jonas (his wolfriders are quite numerous later), mine 'good' friend Ethne declared on me (Save1)! Few horses makes their job quite fast though. Acheron spawns really close mine capital during war (Save2), I had to be careful of barbs there. Jonas do not hesitate to declare me as well (Save3), but his attacks was quite awkward. Not even his cities was defended well. Last civ was Lurchuip, whos wood golems was a challenge. But event they cant resist horse army. Won on conquest on turn 180 (Save4)

could have been 20 turns earlier, i overestimated the luirchirp a lot - they built the form of the titan and i had no copper.

warrior-rushed ethne, same with the orcs, was a bit too fast and struggled with my economy until i got markets online.

Conquest Win, Turn 136, Score 88023

My early game was disappointing, as my 4 huts and graveyard provided only gold and a couple maps. I teched Ancient Chants and Education, switching to City States and Apprentice. I warrior rushed Ethne, using the Worldspell to overtake her quickly. It was a good thing, too, since Jonas appeared in the middle of my attack and declared war on me.

The Warcry let me fend him off easily and get some quick XP. I met Orthus on my counterattack and grabbed the axe. Jonas fell pretty easily, but Beeri was a handful with Barnaxus, the Stooges and Wood Golems. I had teched to Horseman, then beelined Bronze Working to upgrade my Warrior's Strength. I was a little more reckless than I would normally be in my games, but it was fun and I thank you for the challenge.
