XML files change

How do i change the graphics level (High, medium and low) in the XML files?
Is it even possible?
I was able to change some settings in the "CIV4GraphicOptionInfos.xml" file, but i cannot locate the file where the graphics levels are....
Please help!

You should just be able to change them from the in game options menu, there's no need to mess around with the XML files.

And there is the problem, my settings are'nt saved from some reasone, no matter what do i change them to, they always return to "High" option.

How many user profiles do you have on your computer?

None, it does'nt even saves the profiles....

You should change your graphics options from the options menu in the game.

Start the game.
From the menu, choose "advanced"
Choose "options".
Click on the 'graphics' tab.
Change the options.

I have only one user profile, and it is the Admin.

It's driving me nuts, i really need to be able to change the graphics settings.
The game is running kinda ok on HIGH but still a bit slow.

Did you install to the default settings and folders? Also, you might want to post your civ4.ini file to let others compare theirs.

Nope, i installed it into my "Games" folder, does it makes any difference?

my civ4.ini is the original one, i have'nt changed anything

Well, i reinstalled the game into it's original path...and nothing!!
