If the Bible is classified as "indecent" by authorities, only those over 18 could buy the holy book and it would need to be sealed in a wrapper with a statutory warning notice.

a Pagan group in Albemarle County, Va., that took advantage of a Religious Right-sponsored move to open a public school’s “backpack mail” system to religious promotions.

The backlash was swift and harsh when parents received flyers announcing a Pagan holiday celebration at the local Unitarian Universalist congregation. One mother was livid that the school would send home in her child’s backpack anything it did not endorse. A “pagan ritual” is “an educational experience my children don’t need,” she fumed.
 
Schools distributing ads for religious activities? Sounds to me like a pretty clear violation of separation of Church and State. Bad judge bad! And bad Christians for the double standard!
 
Mmm, well, just goes to show I guess. Although I am kind of the opposite; I wouldn't mind getting a flyer for a Pagan thing (I might even go) but don't think it is the school's place to do it. But yes, this is in fact the best way to fight the more absurd aspects of fundamentalism.

Someone should open up a museum that showcases the creation stories of Greco-Roman culture and explain how "science proves it" . . .
 
Then it shold be X-ians or Xians, not Xtians. The X takes the place of Christ in Christmas with X-mas. Never understood why X is considered a legit replacement for Christ, though.
