It sure is a sadistic thrill when you know you’ve just killed the last defending unit in an enemy’s last remaining city – I always find myself saying Anne Robinson’s immortal line as my tank sweeps into their streets to destroy the Russian Civilization!

(Not until I’ve made them offer me all their knowledge and money, which I have of course taken)

I surround the city with units and attack every time they manage to build a defende

Actually this is when I'm really upset because that strategy makes me loose a city that could be mine....

I prefer to leave that last city alive, surround it with dug in armor, and build a Spaceship.

I just let the last city build a unit! That way. The last civ is usually in Democracy or Republic, so the unit will take up its only shield, and the city will get nowhere!

I had a dream last night I was on The Weakest Link, that Anne Robinson is bloody scary! Even if it is just in a dream!!

You watch too much television Vlady - like any at all!

Anyway, the most sadistic thing you can do is to devastate a civ from 20+ cities down to 1 city, preferably in just two or three turns. The "Enraged" label when you hit F3 suddenly turns to "Receptive". Now send an emissary, and refuse a ceasefire. The civ now grovels: "We are a peace loving nation. We will give you all of our gold and all of our technology if you'll will just leave us in peace." THEN you crush them!

It's a very funny quiz on UK TV show (it's just started in the USA I believe) where players have to vote off team members.

Very funny because the presenter Ms Robinson is very good at making the contestents look very stupid and generally taking the p*ss out of them.

You've gotta see - crack me up everytime!
