People's experience with "City Site Density: Medium"

Yes, they are completely empty sites. I'll submit a bug report. Thank you!

People's experience with "City Site Density: Medium"

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I just want to understand if other people use this setting and what they've experienced. I noticed this city site density setting recently and I've been playing a ton of games on in (about 10 now). If it works correctly, it would be my preference...

How to succeed with a money run?

Thanks! Unfortunately, I had to attack the tribes because the AI were doing it too and I would've lost the city sites. I usually don't have problems with money for events. If I'm short, I just quickly sell some resources to get the cash. I like how the event waits for you to do whatever want -...

What future content would you like to see for Old World?

While there are already a near limitless combinations of starting families, the benefit of a few additional cultures (Mesoamerica as mentioned, Maurya, or some East Asian ones) would be new artwork. I love the current artwork and I love to zoom in a see the details. So it would be great to see...

How to succeed with a money run?

I've been playing this game for a while now, but I'm still learning new things and appreciate everyone's advice. In my current run, I decided to do Carthage and focus on gold - trade, markets, etc. I'm at about turn 60, but I'm finding it very slow going. My main city (which is usually the...

Some thoughts and feedback following my first proper game

It does cost - orders. Also the AI typically doesn't camp forever. They build a settler and move there as soon as they can. It's humans who would camp the entire game.

    Is Old World any fun?

I'd just like to add something else that really blew me away compared to Civ. I'm trying the archipelago map because I wanted a peaceful game. Turns out there was another civ that spawned on the same island as me, so that took most of my energy. When I finally finished off that civ, I realized...

    Governer Management & Families

Ok good to know I wasn't missing any thing obvious. In this sense, it's kinda like CK2 where you have to make sure to marry everyone early so there's enough bodies in the future :)

    Governer Management & Families

I like both the conquering and management sides of 4X games. So I'm interested in optimizing my cities, and that means getting some good governors. For example, let's say you have a coastal city and add a +50% nets governor. I like going through the cities to make sure the governors are the...

    Soren Johnson's Old World

Thanks Wildmick. That's some good food for thought. I guess there's going to be alot of balancing and changes, so I shouldn't worry too much about optimizing everything at the moment. By the way, do you know why sometimes the list shows alot of things to build, but when you move to a different...

    Soren Johnson's Old World

Hi guys, I'm really enjoying the game and this is the only forum I can find to discuss it. My question is, is there anyway to quickly see all the buildings that have been built in a city? Looking at the map is not always clear because of unfinished artwork, etc. And in the city builder screen...
