If I recall correctly, I saw some reference about a tool that supposedly was able to convert the old Civ 2 maps into Civ 3 BICs on a webpage when I was surfing the web a while ago.
Anyone out there who are familiar with such tool, and as to where one might download it?

If I recall correctly Iran was diverted between the Allies and the Soviets, whom seized the northern part, including Tehran, while the British got the southern territories.
The campaign was one of the most bloodless and swift during WWII and information about it is quite scarce. Although...
"In autumn of 1940, the French colonies of Chad, Cameroon, Moyen-Congo, French Equatorial Africa, and Oubangi-Chari joined the Free French side. French colonies in New Caledonia, French Indochina, French Polynesia, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon and the New Hebrides joined later."...
This is indeed a great scenario. What surprises me the most is that finally someone made a scenario without heaping the cities together, leaving but one square or so between them.
There are a few slight flaws in my opinion, mainly concerning city placement, but perhaps you've sacrificed...
Hello everybody!
I've made a "conversion" of the Civilization 2 WWII scenario, which I love very much, into Civilization 3.
The scenario thus far lacks Civ 3 unique resources, the resources included are (as far as possible) situated as in the original. The game rules hasn't been changed...
Well that goes without saying, however, resources will be on the less side of scarce once you do it (i.e. restore default rules) since many of the resources used in the mod are confined to it. Correct me if i'm wrong but wheat, for example, has been replaced by some other resource and then...
You wouldn't happen to have an unmoded version of your map? no offense but I'm quite frankly content with the original set of rules, units, resources etc.
If you do so please post a link to it.

Fredrik
Actually, Andrew_Jay, I'm making the Civ2 WWII map even as we speak. It will probably be finished by this evening. At the very least the terrain, the resources will probably require a few days of research.
If you give your mail I would gladly send it to you.

One improvement could be to give the Roman cities latin names instead of their modern ones (i.e. Paris=Lutetia).

I wonder if it's possible to give away units to another computer player? The AI sometimes offer you workers as part of a peacetreaty but I have never really found out how to do it myself.
My second question is about a savegame editor I had before (lost it when my hdd crashed). It had far more...
