    League of Legends

This question is hard to answer without specific context. Some complaints about lane composition are legitimate, but it usually depends on a lot of factors. I would generally ignore people who complain about this at low summoner levels since most most of them have no clue about how the game...

    League of Legends

http://twitch.tv/wellplayed WellPlayed is currently streaming another round of their King of the Hill tournament. Current champion Dignitas versus Curse. Dignitas won the first match, second match will start soonish. The stream is kind of laggy unfortunately. Also, a chance to win 500 RP...

    League of Legends

Just played in the dominion beta. It's great, so action packed. It's not very balanced, but that's not unexpected.

I try them out in a custom game all by myself first, to get an idea of what the champ can/can't do. Then I jump into a normal game, sometimes I look for a guide first. If someone whines at me for trying out a champ in a normal game, I ignore them.

    League of Legends

IP gain is only influenced by type of game (5v5, 3v3, custom game, bot game) and game length as far as I can tell, with 5v5 normal and ranked games giving the most IP. Longer games obviously give you more more IP, though there is small bonus for "winning fast". Personal performance doesn't...

    League of Legends

Champion price doesn't correlate with power. Annie is 450 I think, and one of the most powerful champs in the game. Twitch on the other hand is 6300 and absolute garbage.

I think Roller coasters should be a part of every aspect of your life.

The thing is he doesn't actually run over the ice. He's stuck in this position (and in this pose) and can't move, I didn't even know the water at that place could freeze.

It turns out that the Diver from Commandos 2 is actually Jesus.

DK2 is a special case, they have no access to the source code so it's hard to properly fix the game. That, and the compatibility issues with Windows 7 are pretty random, a lot of people can' run the game on Windows 7 at all, while I know someone personally who had no problems with it. Still...

All gog.com releases are ready to play out of the box. They are either modified to run on modern systems or come with a custom-built dosbox to play them. There's usually no need to tinker with the game/dosbox settings yourself.

Fun, fast lil' multiplayer games online?

LoL is generally less than an hour per match, especially if you play 3v3 instead of 5v5. It's also the least complex of the DotA-likes. Not exactly "easy" to pick up, but it's the easiest of the bunch. Btw. most regular DotA/HoN matches last less than an hour, just fyi.

    Paradox Interactive games

So, I've played two games of Darkest Hour so far, and quit both of them early because Germany got absolutely stomped. In the first game, they couldn't dent the Soviets and lost by '43, in the second one they didn't even manage to conquer France. Is this just bad luck, or does this happen a lot...

RCT 1 and 2 are both great. The biggest disadvantage of 2 is that it's not on GOG (yet).

There are more than three, it's just that S&P/Fitch/Moodys are the biggest/oldest/most established ones.
