Anyway not much of a doubt in mind that sexism is a thing in present time (particularly, sexism against women) but it's also hard for me to see it. When I was an english major I'm not exaggerating when I say I would estimate roughly 90% of the students were female. The reason the authors of the 'classics' are almost entirely heterosexual white men is because by definition the 'classics' means a long time ago, a time period in which only people from that group were given the opportunity, unlike today.
