I don't think you affliate with any party but if these things are true then you cannot associate with your statist comrades. Is the anachist left any better? I'm surprised you didn't just go straight up with "Property" there. Although then you could just say that stopping violence with violence is a double standard. Of course, I consider private property rights justifiable.

I'm not as much a fan of IP as you may think, I think in most cases its nothing more than a way to stop people from using their real property as they see fit. In some areas, such as those where the vast majority of work involved is intellectual, I think they may be justifiable.

So, rather than two separate civil wars, isn't this more a case of the two World Wars, where the failures of the first led directly (or otherwise) to the commencement of the second?

The Irish independence makes perfect sense, but do armed insurrectionists count? I always thought that was terrorism and counter-terrorism, rather than active warfare.
