Though I swear some of the people answering yes to one know that and are just trying to yank my chain.
Anyway. Neither, imo (speaking as mostly a liberal)

I've played a damn lot of games inspired in some way by MoM, but not MoM itself.
A few days before releasing MoM they released the Master of Orion series, which I snagged and was pretty underwhelmed with. Worth 5 bux, sure, but... meh. So...
Valkrionn, you said in the alignment thread that you'll be overhauling the civics completely, and that the new civics won't quite be the same as apotheoser's but will follow similar design principles.
How bout postan the new ones for some pre-release balance nitpickan?
If I'm reading the Fall Further thread on them right, the AC determines how many demons spawn per turn, while the world's tech level determines what the actual demons are, and the free XP they get makes them a lot stronger than equivalent tech units.
Tying type to tech level insures the...

That post makes it pretty clear how to solve that forest start problem, but not where to go to do it.
Like, if someone wants a critique for his game and uploads a series of saves without telling what difficulty the game is on (and probably not being able to because he can barely type coherent english.)
I understand it as a promo with a long history of changes and rebalances which I haven't been able to really keep up with. When I first started playing FfH guardsman made units defend their stack no matter what, including vs. assassins. After that it's all hazy.
I also hear that the FF...
That is to say, saving your game, and reloading either it or an autosave and playing things out differently when something goes to pot, like a 2-turn loss of a wonder or a heavy attack from a neighbor on a lightly guarded border, etc. In my ~2 years here I've seen a steady trickle of these myths...
So we don't ruin the calabim thread with this circlejerk
The vaults aren't hard to get a boost from. Overflowing's an insane goal to reach for for most of the game, and full's kind of borderline, but stocked or abundant is totally reasonable. Set your gold slider to 100% for short stretches...
Every elf player hates how farms and towns totally blank out the forests they're built on. There's instructions on how to fix this by someone else, but apparently lots of people miss them or are too afraid to try and make the changes themselves.
Attached is a fix you can download. Send it to...
So I stopped playing BtS about a year ago, and have been limiting my Civ4 experience to nothing but mods ever since, with FfH being the main one. (In some ways this is worse than totally quitting, since I've formed a lot of habits that do not apply to BtS.) Anywho I started trying my hand at the...
For me, it's a close race between RoK and AV. Both of them have quite a high ratio of good tracks to total tracks, with few unmemorable/bad songs. I went with AV in the end because it simply has more tracks to loop through, so less repetition.
The single best song in FfH (my cold sea) is...
MENTALLY REPLACE GILDEN WITH KITHRA IN MY LIST, I MIXED THE 2 UP AND THERE'S NO WAY FOR ME TO CORRECT IT.
So yeah, the old one only had the late heroes and was missing Hemah and was taken back when Chalid had cure disease, heal, and metal weapons. Also Crown of brilliance was a tiny bit...
I know they buff summons by giving them empower promotions. What beyond that?
Do they boost direct damage spells like wither and crush?
Do they boost healing spells like, uh, heal?
Do they boost the success odds of save-or-suffer spells like blinding light and dominate?
Mods like Rhye's, FfH and so on count as Civ, as do "civ-but-not-really" Sid Meier games like Colonization and Alpha Centauri.
If by some twisted, unholy miracle you've never played civ and were brought straight to OT by some outside source and were attracted to it by its discussion alone, say...

I figure it'll be more like an assload of community service and some probation, but we'll see.
