    [FfH II Art Team Blog]

It's not the placement of the list that I wonder about, it's the length of the name for some of the civs - Minister Kuon might overlap if he were on the bottom, where Mahala doesn't.

    [FfH II Art Team Blog]

I'm a fan of this new version. It doesn't seem all that distracting to me, as far as gameplay goes, but definitely looks in keeping with the theme. A question, though; Since the scroll for the Civilization's flag is raised above higher than the mini-map, what will it look like if the if the...

    New Installer (I need testers)

It seems to work perfectly for me. The installer asked for the mods directory normally. I didn't actually start a game, but I got to the opening menu without any trouble. I'm running Vista, with a regular install of Civ4 and BTS.

    Civ Specific Resources

How about 'Precision Tools', or something to that effect for the Khazad? It could give a bonus to production. Or maybe 'Steel', giving a bonus to their unit attack. (My original thought was 'Ale', since they're dwarves, but I decided it was too close to the 'Rum' already mentioned.)

    Voice for the Techs

I did use the noise filter, but we'll give the sheet a try. Thanks!

    Voice for the Techs

I can try, but am unfortunately limited in what I have available. I've been using Audacity for the editing, does anyone have another suggestion? Buying a better mic isn't possible at this time, I'm afraid.

    Voice for the Techs

Okay, here's the first sample. Please let me know what you think. Be honest - but be nice, too, please. :)

    Voice for the Techs

Well, we'll give it a try. A question, though - is there a list of the tech descriptions to be found in one of the files? It would be much easier if I could pull them out without going into the game. EDIT: Nevermind, found it.

    Voice for the Techs

 Okay, I'll ask her to read a couple of the tech descriptions, and get them uploaded. Hopefully it's not too jarring to hear a woman reading the techs, although there are some which would probably do better with a male voice. I don't know about the fitting part yet, we'll just have to...

    Voice for the Techs

Absolutely true, but fortunately she's done some voice work before. If there's any interest at all, I'll get a couple of samples for people to check out.

    Voice for the Techs

While playing a game of BTS, I realized that I rather like hearing the Tech descriptions spoken out loud, and wondered if anyone had considered adding that in for FFH II, or if anyone else would, in fact, be interested in such a thing. I already have a voice volunteer--my wife, if anyone has an...

Fall Further - The Original Thread

Thanks for the quick fix, Vehem. I like the new Austrin civ, I just started a game with them, and they're a lot of fun.

    Yes, it's Vista, unfortunately.

Fall Further - The Original Thread

I'm getting an error when I use Ctrl-Alt-O for the Bug Mod. I checked to make sure the file referenced does exist in at least one of those directories, and it does. See image below:

    Need advise with unique improvements

As far as I know, the Letum Frigus doesn't do anything at the moment. Odio's Prison gives +25% strength to all units within +3 tiles. I've never seen the Guardian, so I don't know what it does, though the 'pedia doesn't say it has any effect.

    Battering Ram

If I remember correctly, the battering ram can be created by (some?) Khazad units while in forest, so it's more like a summon spell than a buildable unit, though it is permanent. It also takes some time to create. I don't know offhand whether all of the dwarven units can do it, or just...

Fall Further - The Original Thread

Yes, the most recent patch of FFH, .32i is updated for BtS patch 3.17, but Fall Further has not been updated for either patch yet.

    Healing rates

Here's a couple of relevant quotes, if we're talking about Tolkien's Elves: (From the Silmarillion) "In those days, Elves and Men were of like stature and strength of body, but the Elves had greater wisdom and skill, and beauty; and those who had dwelt in Valinor and looked upon the Powers...

    FfH2 0.32 Bug Thread

From what I understand, when the event creating the split occurs, there are two possible choices, one which ends up with the original civilization and Minister Kuon being on the same team, like Basium can be, and the other option splits him off entirely from the civilization, so they can end up...

    FfH2 0.32 Bug Thread

Is Minister Kuon in the game? Maybe the Doviello split? That's the only thing I could think of other than a bug.
