    The Grand Canyon isn't necessarily below "normal terrain" either. On the north side its 9,000+ feet in elevation. From the top it looks like a giant gap between very large tall plateaus. In game it would have to take up more than 1 hex though.

    Naval warfare is kind of broken IMO, I had a sub try and kill a frigate... took 3 torpedo shots to take down a wooden ship :( and that was without any insta healing and a full health sub.

    Can't declare war after peace treaty

    it's not fixed.. in my game a canceled deal actually gives me 5 extra horses per turn (I was up to 148 horses last night)... now only if that were oil :)

    sorry this poll is invalid... you need an option to say... Civ 5 > Civ 4. Some of the changes you want to return to does not make a whole lot of sense in how they built the game. I believe it is the best game of the series and the most fun so far (when comparing non-modded versions of the game)

    It might be easier to mod this through a promotion, (eg. create a promotion where unit do not lose movement when disembarking or crossing river) and all Norse units are given both promotions on creation. Many things Kael added in FFH was done through promotions.

    true it is not very "Viking" because their power was during the early medieval period. I was thinking of the concepts being represented rather than being historically accurate. To make the ability stronger and not just an early bonus... then make all "Viking" embarked units have an attack...
