firaxis doesnt want to use "un-fun" catch up or alliance against player type mechanics in civ game.

if firaxis cannot solve the unnecessary end game hit the end turn button 50 times so the game is over without doing anything then for me it really doesnt matter what they add or remove mechanic wise

early access is at this time an established method for companies to get money , everyone will use that , paradox loves its DLC focused continued support and expansion of game model so Millenia will most likely make use of that too. at least paradox gives a lot of the update as free too like...

better endgame mechanics and ensure that snowballing does not lead to hit end of turn till game is finished better multiplayer support and maybe tournaments and such support for bigger and even bigger maps

i dont think there is any AI in the game at all. just a bunch of numbers assigned to all actions and some other values ( i could speculate civilization power , distance , army positioning etc ) . the computer then checks the sum of said numbers and checks it against a table the devs have created...

when i was a child and had no worries apart from how to beat the computer player. the older i got and the more real life worries crept into my gaming experience the less fun i had
