Blackened Skies

Will we get to see the Bulgaria treaty soon ?
(I'd like to know about this, since it would cause some problems if an Romanian corp would march into Sofia, while some brits or russians are securing it ^^)

I'm going to unfortunately drop. This is no fault of Crezth or nuka who are doing a really good job of modding, I'm just personally unable to keep up with the game.

Sorry to see you go! :(

The United States Government, with the support of its allies in South America, declares that the domination or control of the political institutions of any American state by the international Socialist movement extending to this hemisphere constitutes a threat to the sovereignty and political independence of the American states, including the United States, and that accordingly the United States will resist to its fullest degree all such attempts.

The Errors of Intellectual Socialism

There were no intellectuals, educated in the ‘science’ of Marxism, who harboured contempt for the masses when the Ruhr rebelled. What makes the Ruhr unique among workers’ republics is that our revolution wasn’t usurped by intellectuals, nor did our leaders emulate foreign theory – we made our own Socialism through blood and hard work. Our practices are wholly bred of the working class experience divorced from the corruption of intellectualism, bourgeois education and elitist values that infect the career politicians of other socialist countries.

On so many issues is Collectivism altogether better than Marxism and intellectual Socialism.

Historical Necessity

Socialism is not inevitable. Socialism is fragile and surrounded on all sides by powerful forces of reaction that have nothing but fear and malice for our cause. The capitalists every day become better at repressing their workers. That socialism is strongly anchored in Germany and France is historical chance, not historical necessity.

The Ruhr was founded because of a confluence of remarkable conditions – a concentration of industry and raw materials unparalleled anywhere else in the world – an unrelenting war that finally frustrated the soldiers to break ranks – and the numerous mistakes of our enemies in the German Civil War.

The future is not predestined and so efforts to spread Socialism must be redoubled to win the fight.

Revolutionary War

The capitalists are more prepared than ever to quash revolution. The capitalists have tanks and war planes and artillery and manage global food supply chains – the workers of capitalist nations have none of these. Revolution alone is futile.

Socialism cannot wait idly as workers die in vain – Collectivism supports wars of liberation to free workers held captive by capital. Absent a sentry for socialism, the more numerous and more powerful capitalist nations will gang up and destroy every new revolution and rollback all our progress as well.

Communism

The favourite fantasy of the Marxists is their utopian dream of Communism. Communism – a future stage when the state, the police, and everything else has been abolished – is a dangerous lie. As socialism spreads further across the planet the state will become more important, more essential to human wellbeing, not less.

The intellectuals play workers for fools, preying on their desperate hope for a better future – the better future won’t come by withering away the workers’ state, but strengthening it so we can protect ourselves from capitalism, slowly advance the borders of socialism, and solve problems too big to be solved by anything other than a state of workers for workers.

… To Each According to His Needs

While of course the workers’ state should protect the vulnerable and guarantee a basic standard of living for all, Collectivists deny the Marxist creed that hard work shouldn’t be rewarded. Some jobs are harder, require more skill or expertise, or are so important they demand greater patience and attention for same number of hours. Workers reject the Marxist obsession with strict equality. To each according to their effort, their talent, their virtue! Workers want fairness! Do not shackle the energies of people like capitalism by treating all workers with strict Marxist 'equality.'

Atheism

The workers of most nations follow one of many faiths, and only the elite, bourgeois educated intellectual Socialists adamantly condemn religion. While indeed the clergy are an instrument of bourgeois oppression in capitalist countries, so are the schools and courts and the military – but in the workers' state all these instruments are made wholesome. Why is the church uniquely unfit for proletarian renovation? Not so. Collectivists may or may not be religious, and their faiths are many, but we recognize the legitimacy of religious conviction and therefore endorse those activities of established religions that are valued by the working class.

Colonialism

Perhaps the most shameful continuity between capitalism and intellectual Socialism is their shared defence of empire. Marxists defend their undemocratic rule because of a noble mission to uplift the “backwards” nations – the white Socialist’s burden. Imperial ambitions divide the working classes of different nations through imperial competition – French colonies endanger the French proletariat as much as they endanger the toilers of Africa.

Make no mistake, while the Marxists may take pains to their justify colonial possessions, the real reason France holds half of Africa captive is the same cynical reason for industrial capitalism – plunder! Take their resources and deliberately inhibit their progress for the benefit of the intellectual ruling elites in the metropole.

Collectivists condemn colonialism and empire whether by greedy capitalists or greedy intellectual Socialists. Collectivists support the right to self-determination of all nations, and only Collectivists ensure the independence of long oppressed toilers of the colonies.
