Change my claims to Uruguay (Four small territories) and the Texas-sized state. That state is the third-largest one (after Amazonas and Pará, the two massive Northern ones - Pará is about the size of Angola, and Amazonas is about the size of Mongolia and 3 times the size of France. Since we have taken Zelet out with a headshot I'd like to post my PAE, proposed area of expansion. Dark red is current claims, normal red is PAE. Notice how we have Spain, if any French or Spanish Empire would like it we'd give it away. We may act like imperialists, but this is our maximum expansion plan, if anybody would like some of Western Africa we wouldn't care. (Also, it's called Imperium Offtopicum)
About Tunisia, if it counts as a far-away land then just use that, if it's not far away then give me as much as Tunisia as possible.
Also, TF, how many territories do you need in a far-away land to get it to one claim point?

GM Announcement:

I have decided to implement events, and the first ones will show up next update.

It's quite simple.

Using a random number generator, a number from 1 to the number of total nations(player and NPC; players are assigned a number according to their position on the list; NPCs are added to the end), a nation it will affect will be selected. Then, the severity of the event will be selected on a range from 1 to 10. I will try and make the event match the region(Pacifistan would have fun with earthquakes, desert regions with drought, etc.), but in the event I can't, I'll have to use some other non-natural event (scandals, market issues, etc.). It is up to you to actually detail the event if you wish; they're mostly to make gameplay more random and interesting.

1 in severity would kill a few people, 10 would be on par with a massive tsunami or the Haiti earthquake. In more abstract values, 1 would be a minor scandal, 10 would be a market crash/assassination of a key leader.

You are also protected from being hit with an event until 4 more have occurred to other players. Events will happen about once every 12 hours, and are independent of updates.

Hopefully this system will enhance our little roleplay; just know it won't affect gameplay any, so don't be too PO'd if you ever lose 100K people in a disaster.

Global recessions and such occur separate from these, and will be detailed as they occur. Given the years between recessions/booms, it will take weeks for these to show up between eachother.
