None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

I'm not going to stand here and start pretending I'm not Palpatine, but I think LOTR townies should seriously consider how they plan to win if they let LOTR cultist expansion continue unchecked. SW townies didn't have to worry about that, because they could all be converted, and all win. That's not the case for LOTR townies. If I'm lynched, this means that LOTR cultists levels are not just sustained, but increased by one, given their presumed ability to convert every night. In addition, while you can prevent the LOTR cult from expanding with one lynch a day to match their one conversion a day (until they run out of convertible LOTR townies), you can't actually reduce their numbers without a night kill. The only night kill remaining outside of LOTR cult is with me. So again, I'd implore LOTR townies to think hard about how they plan to win if they decide to lynch me.

choxorn would have died because he targeted a LOTR cultist. Surely someone knows who he targeted. And although we think we were misled by some intel, the azzaman lynch attempt wasn't BSing. He seriously seemed a good fit for Sauron, and I've yet to see much evidence to the contrary. He survived a night kill without protection, as I did. Presumably that innate survival ability is something which Sauron has.

Unvote: Camikaze. I know he's SW Cult, but I have something else on my mind right now.

I've felt Takhisis was LoTR cult since very early on, and told Visorslash so. I am not going to vote a hunch over a confirmed cultist however. Vote: Camikaze

I will vote Takhisis tomorrow.

G3TC, this is why giving them the numerical advantage was a mistake. We are completely at their mercy for the lynch now, and they will keep choosing Star Wars players. Anyway, vote: Takhisis, I think he was late to vote yesterday because he is a cultist and secretly wanted visor slash gone without having to publicly vote for him.
As I've already posted in reply to KingMorgan, you can just look for when I posted on that night and find out I wasn't online at all for almost a day. Thou shalt not metagame in vain.
Believe me, if I knew who Sauron was, I'd vote for him in a flash. As it is though, Camikaze pretty much admitted to being SW Cult and Darth Vader is still out there trying to kill people, LotR or otherwise.

Is there any other evidence on Takhisis other than late voting? His role as Faramir was already posted in the thread.
Everyone can have cover roles, so claiming Faramir means nothing unless he can also claim a role
unvote: vote: Taki. Looks like we have a majority to lynch Camikaze with confidence assuming that LOTR and SW vote as they have so far, so this is a good day to get roleclaims and narrow our suspect list. Taki, what do you do at night, and how can we test that?
I am Faramir and have an ability that allows me to scan people at night to see whether they are SW or LotR. I have scanned Arakhor and johnhughthom as LotR, Backwards and Frozen as SW, and been roleblocked twice, including last night. Is there anything else that you want to know?
I'm fairly sure injured just means you can't use your ability until healed or after a period of time.

Anyway, vote:Takhisis.

Then why aren't you pushing for his lynch? Oh wait. Bolded above.

Taki's claim looks fake, since its easy to get everything he claims to have scanned from in thread information. In fact, it looks like a perfect cover role because of that. However, these are merely good hunches and I think I have an idea for how to test his supposed ability. unvote: vote Camikaze is confirmed Palpatine. We have confirmed azzaman as not Sauron behind the scenes (he has a different, testable ability), though he could be a later convert. Camikaze has a point, that Sauron and friends are becoming a serious problem again though, now that we aren't sure whose unconvertible anymore. Nonetheless, I think disabling the night kill is a greater priority right now. If anyone knows who choxorn targeted in his last night alive, they should come forward today or tomorrow, so we can lynch accordingly

takhisis

Just cause

Obvious cultist is obvious, though we have much bigger fish to fry from both sides. Remember this vote for (much) later

Ghost Comment:

A combination Signup Thread/Poll asking where I should go with my game is now up. Check it out!

unlike Taki, Arakhor has refused to provide any testable claims about his/her abilities. Good thing to remember for tomorrow's Sauron-hunt.

I think there's still enough time left in the day to switch from a Takhisis wagon to a spaceman wagon. His cultishness seems to be reaching a crescendo this turn. Good opportunity for Takhisis to prove his innocence, too.

Let's not get too hasty. Camikaze is definitely SW Cult, but Spaceman has been caught lying. Both he and KingMorgan claimed privately to me to have been the player targeted last night by Darth Vader, yet independent inquiry has identified that KingMorgan's character was wounded, not Spaceman. Further, Spaceman claimed to use a special power last night, stopping all nightkills, and that the resulting wound was mentioned in the update. Since KingMorgan was the one who was visited last night, Spaceman's power claim is also false.

Besides which, you can't possibly test Takhisis' claimed ability, given that everyone's disclosed factions are already known, unless somehow someone has switched faction by joining the other side's cult. I'm not convinced that he's innocent, but no actual evidence has been provided as to his guilt.

As for me, my innocence was verified by Visorslash, Choxorn and BSmith in days past, so it's no wonder that LotR cult would try to discredit me. Palpatine certainly needs to die for SW Town to even have a chance of survival, but it seems that they don't even care enough to want to survive. I'm aware that my shifting my vote like this could mean that SW imbalances LotR and we all die a horrible, nasty death at the hands of outrageously partisan SW townies, but I'll be damned if I die without revealing a single cultist.

For the record: Vote: Spaceman.

It's interesting that not a single person who's alive has verified your innocence, thus making them unable to counter your claim.

KingMorgan and Spaceman can verify what I've said about their injury claims. Whether or not Spaceman chooses to do so or not, of course, is a different issue.

Spaceman98 is a lying cultist. I was the one injured last night, I communicated this fact to Arakhor yesterday after I read the update, I can forward the PM I sent him with timestamps on request. Therefore I am convinced of Arakhors innocence.

I think it is best to cut the head off the hydra today, will Palpy dead perhaps that will stop the cult recruiting, therefore I am leaving my vote with Cami, however I hope you will all join me tomorrow in lynching Spaceman98.

unvote, vote: spaceman

It's interesting that you're prioritizing SW cult over LOTR cult, in spite of being LOTR.

As matter of fact, my scan of Frozen as SW is what made Visor start prodding Frozen until he admitted he wasn't a LotR player at all.

Will do, but you've been accused as well.

KingMorgan's accused you. Defend yourself.

You are Palpatine, you die.
This. Sith must die.
