I must do some units and BANG!!! the American Continent Mod will be ready!!! :) :D

Next challenge: Eagle Klan, Arawak UU
Arawak are a peaceful native root that inhabitated counties of north of South America, parts of Central America and Caribbean Islands, I think they have arrived in Florida too. They were conquered by the angry Carib native root in the time before the Europeans arrived, the Spanish killed the last ones :( So, the tribe is peaceful, but it has the Eagle Klan, a clan that stroke back against Caribbean domination. The eagle of this clan is similar to the bird (I can't remember what kind of bird it is) of the Haida tribe. Enjoy!

next one: Taino Piroga
what is it: the boats used by Arawak, mainly by the Taino "state". Some of them are really big and were used to 70 or 80 natives per each voyage  But it is very similar to the canoes of other Native Americans Roots, like Tupi.

- unit name: Kalipuna (Native Caribbean UU)
- civilopedia entry: The Carib were a aggressive native root that inhabited Caribbean Islands and part of continental area of Americas. The most ferous attack done by this root was against the peaceful Arawak root that inhabited the same region of Carib. Kalipuna is the name of the the main Caribben tribe responsable for this big attack.

Why is he so... "not straight" ("un-straight"? "in-straight"? :crazyeye: damn... i can't think of a better word to say that  ... But he looks more like a primitive ape than a human in that pose)?

cos all the other NA units are straight  I have to use other positions too :)

New unit: Desert Wind (former Mounted Club Man)
Civilopedia entry: Desert Wind is the fantasy name of the the most important military unit of the Navaho civilization. The first contact with horses happened in XVII century, when Spanish has brought horses to the American continent. Horses brought a revolution to the Navaho society, in its army and all other aspects of the civilization.

I dunno if mounted tomahawk warriors were particularly Navaho, heck, I dunno if the Navaho even used tomahawks! But I do think your tomahawk model looks more like a mini pickaxe, which isn't what I think tomahawks looked like. Here, I did some freehand drawings of tomahawks really quick-like in MSPaint, one's a stone-tipped one, and the other is iron (traded for furs). They're pretty generic and look like crap (especially the lame feather colours), but maybe they can help you design a better tomahawk?

thanks man! I discovered Navajo used Axes, not Tomahawks (I thought they were the same weapon  ), so, I think the weapon in the image is right (and isn't named Tomahwak)

Well, that worked out nicely! :) Who would have thought?

I changed the name of the unit to Desert Wind and posted the new (final) artworks, I'm exporting them right now, in minutes I can post the unit and it into the Navaho civilization.

I want play ACM soon!!! Just need finish the units before that :)

I'll see if I can put some alternate biqs toghether featuring new maps(North America only, South America only, Mesoamerica only) for people to play on.

PS: Civ...I'm really sorry about what I said earlier, I can be impulsive sometimes, I mean no respect to either you or your country. You've been nothing but kind to me in the past, and what I said was uncalled for.

Next challenge: Riflero
Civilopedia entry: Chilean unit that fought against Bolivia and Peru in the War of the Pacific. Because this war, Bolivia lost them coast in Pacific, a region rich of natural gas and exists a revanchism fellings in these two countries until today.
