Audio Quotes

I have completed the list above now for all techs up to (and including) modern era. I will stop there for now since the game is not fun anymore (AI has so much trouble with rev and you don't really get much new stuff. Also, most buildings produe so few prod/science that you don't have so much gain to keep up with increasing building and tech costs).
What I'm doing this evening is to go trough all the "Same Tech quote" and confirm my notes - sometimes I knew I read the Quote before but was not sure how excactly. Also, I make a proposal which tech should keep the quote while the other(s) should get a new one.
My problem is: I listed Quotes with a misfit written and audio quote, but sometimes the audioquote was "new" and not redundant, and sometimes they had a unique written quote but used a redundant audio quote... I will get those in the next cycle.

 Thx for doing this, this is a GREAT help :goodjob: I was writing these down, but then i always get distracted and forget later.

Right, did a couple more the other day and promptly forgot to post them. Sorry about that. Will do more soon.

Oh, I've changed the way I number the 'track' so that it matches the column and row on the tech tree. I've updated the track numbers of my earlier files on my end, let me know if you want new versions for the game.

Your voice is good magnusilluminus, and I thought you did these very well! Perhaps slightly less annunciation would be my advice. Like a little more level, less up and down. I don't really know but thats just my impression. Like the last one 'fine edged tools' was perfect, more like that one and less like the other two if that helps ^_^

Heh. SO says more enunciation (well, he has in the past), Sgtslick says less. Probably means I'm about right. In any event, thanks for the compliment.

Question to the team. Since SilentConfusion hasn't been seen for a long time, is someone putting these in, or am I expected to do that? I should be able to if needed, as I have access to the tutorial, but I haven't done so before.

I thought the Bone Working one was "excellent" gives alot of clarity to the words very very nice!!:goodjob: Slick might take it another way, because he is used to an accent, then he would say to "us" What Accent.":p:lol:

No i will do them, because i have to change the TechInfos.XML file also :)

LOOKING for a person

WILLING to do MP3's for these quotes suggested above for C2C, even if its just 2 or 4 will be fine, but it must be a person with a LOW voice or a "distinguished accent" person, thx . . . SO

please have a look on the quotes MagnusIlluminus posted a few posts above.

these already have been added quite a while ago. (May) need to re-do the Bone Working one also, the "believed" is a little to much emphasis on it.:mischief: My nad on that one.

I just told you because he said he is willing to make more if you like it. So if you do you might wanna contact him.

I have contacted him three times now after this and he said he is too busy now to do them, sorry.

Unfortunately, I'm right in the busy season at work. I'll try to do a few here and there, but I can't give this any serious time just at the moment. I am intending to get back to this when I can, but I'll fully understand if you bring in someone else in the mean time. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Never no inconvenience, just good thoughts is all, just take care of yourself, thats more important.

I tried my hand at a couple - Plough, Falconry, Balloon Warfare. If these are ok, i'm happy to do a few more.

Good stuff, do you know how to use the DING in front of each one tough?? If not PM 12padams or MagnusIlluminus.
btw thx for even TRYING doing this, i was thinking about doing it also, but i have a high pitched voice, and dont know if it would work too well, so again thx. . . SO

also i committed them already:goodjob:

Tried architecture quote with the ding and with a new technique that cut down on the static a little bit, I also inserted the ding into the ballooning, falconry, plough quotes.

I find I have a slight lisp, or have trouble with words that have too many s's. Normally it doesn't bother me and is not that noticeable but with the mic it sounds pretty bad. So certain quotes i'd prefer someone else did them.

If Architecture sounds ok, and now that i've got the hang of it, I can do most of the rest if you want, just a matter of finding time, its fairly easy though.

I can just let you know which of the quotes i'd prefer not to do (too many s's, or don't agree with my accent perhaps ;) )

edit.. wait hang on, did we even need architecture!?
