I'm home, where are you?
A unit made for the Khemri civilization in Embryodead's excellent Warhammer mod. The Ushabti was a statue placed in Egyptian tombs to assist the dead in the after-life (If I'm recalling it correctly). In Warhammer the Ushabti is a statue animated to crush little peons :D

The three attacks all cycle on their own so you can arrange them in whatever number or order you like.

Being an animated statue the death might not be suitable for all uses...

Wow, that's amazing, and so unexpected that it just raises my appreciation for your work even higher!

They're pretty much the same thing as they were in ancient Egypt- large statues of depictions of the gods of that period. Only in the WH world, these constructs are animated. Which probably didn't happen in ancient Egypt... but no, they're not reanimated corpses, although they may cotnain elements of them.

And if you look closely enough you might notice that the guy is actually a rather emaciated looking bird headed guy. I tried to get a skeletal husk look to the model :D The Ushabti model from Warhammer does sort of look like it could go the skeletal route, and most of the painted versions I've seen paint the head to look like a skull of whatever animal it is (jackel, hawk, crocodile etc).

Ok, that does it. I was pondering for long whether to make my mod realistic or add some fantasy elements... this is so cool unit that it'll be latter. It will be unit for Egyptians in ancient times and later in the game re-appears with archeological excavation building.

I just don't know whether to go to the trouble of adding this to the mod myself or wait until the maester has completed the next patch... oh, decisions, decisions.
