Excellent unit. I was pondering the other day as to what I should have replace the Modern Paratrooper in my FF mod, then I saw the preview in your thread in the main forum. This guy's going in as a Jump Trooper. You know what, though, the armor looks kinda familliar... Sorta similar to the armor worn by a certain bad @$$ chick from a certain Nintentdo game series....

Actually they're called hamburgers because to an American, everything European is the same, so the fact that the ur-hamburger was from eastern Europe doesn't really matter, so they named the dish from the city of Hamburg.
Actually the reason is that the current style of preparation originated in Germany, and Hamburg was the most famous place for hamburgers at that time. You see, the original Russian version of the dish is still available in some fancy resturants where it's called "Steak Tartar." Why? Because the way the original Russian "hamburgers" were serverd was *RAW*
When any kind of meat is listed on the menu as "tartar" it means it's raw, this terminology dates back to the Mongol invasions of Europe, since the Mongols, who were constantly on the move and often didn't have the time to cook, ate most of their meat raw. As a matter of fact, some believe the Russians got their original recipie for raw beef patties while under Mongol rule. It took the Germans to have enough sense to actually cook the durn things.
Oh, and Mrtn, I'd appreciate you not trash talking my country. I'm American, I know the difference between various European dishes, and I'm tired of foreigners who've never even visited or most likely even met anyone from my country talking a bunch of **** like they know something. I'll admit, I've only ever been to Europe once (Amsterdam), and that was for a 3 hour layover on my way to meet my ship in Bahrain, but you don't see me talking **** about Europeans or European countries like I know everything about them. I don't even make fun of the French because I don't insult people I don't know. That can get you in big trouble as well as making you look like a total jackass. A good example of this happened just two days ago. I was walking back to my ship from McDonalds (it was late, and McD's was the only place open), minding my own business, when I walked past a Marine Sergeant, who then said, "You tryin' to sneak up on me boy? Don't you ever sneak up on me you *&^&@!" after which he proceeded to hurl insult after insult, and even spit at my feet. Unfortunately for him, he did not realize he was in the middle of disrespecting a senior NCO (because I was off-duty and wearing civillian clothes), and he was extremely lucky that two of the privates in his unit hauled his ass back home before I wrote him up. He could have been busted down a rank or two and spent some time in the brig for his little escapade.
