This China map is built as was the landscape in china at 195AD. This is a map I made for building Sango scenarios. Anyone interested to use it to build the scenario though is greatly encouraged!

Some settings:

GameSpeed: Marathon, start at 195, a month each turn.
MapSize: 100 x 100
No city razing, no tech trading

Civs were chosen as the leaders in sango scenarios. They are:

Cao Cao
Liu Bei
Sun Ce
Yuan Shao
Liu Biao
Liu Zhang
Ma Teng
Yuan Shun
Zhang Lu
Gongsun Ze
Lu Bu
Gongsun Du
Zhang Yang
Liu Yong
Kong Rong
Li Jun
Wang Lang
Shi Xie

When I have time, I will upgrade this with acurrate city placement, tech, units etc.

Hi Genghis_kai

I've played the map and thought it was very well made and detailed (esp like the rivers part where you can actually navigate through it). One thing though, having played through it once, the South West part seemed a little empty. Maybe you can consider moving one of the warlords in the central part to there and have a civ called Mon Huo in the jungles.

Thanks for digging up this map which i almost have forgotten about :)

If I remember correctly, the map should be of fairly good quality in terms of accuracy. I used reference maps as of ancient china landscape to develop the map and made the major rivers to be navigatable. But the map is not balanced, at all. For the map to be playable, some more hours would need to be spent on it. But I have abandoned the project already.

So unless you are a big fans of Sango stories (like I am) you probably won't find this map too exciting.
