We have 135 players on the start line, plus a couple of registered lurkers. Thanks, everyone, for signing up.
Here are the 19 teams I've made up based on your inputs so far. I'm sure you'll want to confuse me further by rearranging them, but remember we have just six days to get this show on the road. Team and player names are in alphabetical order, I think. Players with names in bold are my arbitrary nominations for team coordinators. Names in brackets are non-playing supporters.
It will be the Team Corrdinator's responsibility to give me a team name if I don't already have one, and to round up the team members when the team threads open. The Teams may choose their own Captains once they are assembled, but I need a spokesperson for each team now.
Apologies in advance for any sensitive toes I've inadvertently trodden into the dust.
Please let me know if I have missed anyone out, or misunderstood/ignored any requests, or if anyone wants out. Now is a better time to back off than at any time once the game has started. I also need final team names, particularly for the new teams, in the next couple of days. If I haven't been given the name for a New Team by the time I start assembling the database and starting saves then the team will be named after the Team Coordinator.
