Town Hall​

(Rules)​

I. Obey the Forumville regulations.
Spoiler :
(A) Adhere to the Forum Rules. This is required.


II. Once you say something, it cannot be unsaid.
Spoiler :
(A) No editing your posts. If you edit a post, any votes in it are invalid and ignored.


III. Time is set in stone. You must abide by it.
Spoiler :
(A) This game has 2 phases: Day and Night.
(B) Day is 48 hours, and Night is 24 hours. If the end of a phase falls on Sunday, it will be extended 24 hours.
(C) During the day, vote for who you think is guilty.
(D) During the Night, any and all people with Night actions should PM them to me.


IV. Secrets are not to be copied.
Spoiler :
(A) You cannot quote, take images of, etc., your Role PM. However, you may paraphrase your role.
(B) You may make your own QuickTopics, but you must send me the link.
(C) You may talk to another player via PM; Do not break the rules while communicating.
(D) I, as GM, reserve the right to remove anyone from the game if they try to get around these rules.


V. The guilty shall be voted for.
Spoiler :
(A) Votes should be cast in the Vote: topsecret format. Unvotes are not required, though obviously allowed. Unvoting without a new vote counts as Abstain.
(B) Abstain and No Lynch are both allowed.
(C) The tally and the votes may disagree, but more than likely they disagree because of someone used an Ability, not my mistake. However, feel free to point out any mistakes in tally you think I've made.


VI. Knowing your sanity is important.
Spoiler :
(A) Smilie Mafia includes:
- Sane Smilies (a.k.a. Innocents)
- Insane Smilies (a.k.a. Mafia)
- Unstable Smilies (a.k.a. Third-Party)
(B) Unstable smilies may be Third-Party, but that doesn't mean they are necessarily neutral!
(C) Everyone will receive a role PM.


VII. Work to achieve victory.
Spoiler :
(A) The sane smilies VC is as follows:
- Eliminate any hostile threats to Smilie Sanity.
(B) Insane and Unstable smilies have different victory conditions.


VIII. Use your power to help your team.
Spoiler :
(A) Any and all abilities you have are in your Role PM.
(B) To use an ability, send me a PM with your target.
(C) You may or may not receive a result PM for your night action.


IX. A dead smilie is... dead.
Spoiler :
(A) When you're dead, you may make one BAH! comment. Otherwise, please stay quiet.
(B) Dead players may get a QT link with game details, if they wish.


X. Don't get replaced.
Spoiler :
(A) I will replace and WoG people as I see fit. This is all left to the host’s discretion.
(B) If you wish to be replaced, let me know in thread or by PM, and I will try to find you a replacement.
(C) Please be active. It kills the experience of the other players if you’re not.

XI. The mayor can pass laws anytime he wishes.

(A) I reserve the right to, at any time, change one, some, or all of these rules simultaneously if I believe that it is necessary to the game.
(B) Bear with me on this, and I will convey to you all the necessary details.
(C) Hopefully a rule change is not required.

XII. Awards:

Awards - Awarded to players who complete a certain goal:

:king: - Awarded to the MVP.
:high5: - Awarded to the player who is the MVP of the town.
:ninja: - Awarded to the player who is the MVP of the mafia.
:bounce: - Awarded to the player who is the MVP of the neutrals.

:popcorn: - Awarded to the player who is the most entertaining.
:sleep: - Awarded to the most bored player.

:hammer: - Awarded to the player that votes on the lynched candidate the most.
:hammer2: - Awarded to the player who votes for himself/herself the most.

:yeah: - Awarded to any player who votes every day they're alive. (If possible...)

:faint: - Awarded to any player who dies Night 1.

(Some awards ideas were borrowed from Zack Mafia IV)

Night 0​

Topsecret stood up in front of the crowd of anxious smilies, and spoke. "Alright, we've got a count on the voters. I'll make sure the person who is lynched gets lynched, you just worry with the voting. To keep you from getting out of hand, I decided to put you in this thread over here..."

"Hey!" "Stop it!" The smilies weren't too happy as they all teleported into a lonely thread. Topsecret smiled. "This way, we can keep you all together, and no-one can just run away. It also keeps the killers from killing me, something I don't want." One smilie protested loudly, "But what about us...? We're gonna die!" Topsecret simply shook his head. "You wanted to do it this way, and now you can..."

After a couple of minutes of wishing horrible things would happen to Topsecret for this, the smilies turned to each other, and tried to decide who to kill first...

It's day 1. Just vote for anyone you want, for no reason or any reason at all.
 
There's a no-lynch too right? I'll vote for that I guess. As you more or less said, TopSecret, there's no reason to vote anyone. Vote:NoLynch
