Lots of early access gameplay...but why no focus on modding clues in these vids?

With all the early access streams in the past few days, I am surprised no youtubers have mentioned anything regarding what the game's file formats or structure looks like!

I assume the early access version they are playing is installed via steam...so would they not be able to at minimum see if SQL/Lua file formats are used which might assist the modders on this forum getting mod planning under way?

Yes, I was just thinking about it. I would like them to show us the Civ VI folder/folders. For instance, how the music and sounds are stored?

I think because like 99% of the user base, they just want to play the game.

I'm not against mods but I usually don't start using them until I've got many many hours into the game as designed.

I suppose everyone has different priorities, but if I were a YouTuber with one week's early access to a brand new game, I think I could be forgiven for not choosing to spend my first videos scrolling through the file explorer .

I also wouldn't be surprised if the modding functionality is entirely absent from this press build.

Nobody asked them I suppose, but yes I'm curious about the file format too.
