Well technically it was Taillesskangaru who made the decision and Taillesskangaru is indeed no longer here.
I did come up with a story for this, actually. The kangaroo was at Maralinga, the tail got cancerous and had to be amputated.

New thread, sleek title.
I should try this when the rain clears. I am training for a 10k with my brother in December, so I have been focusing more on distance than speed. But I think I could hold a sub-10 pace for 3.1 miles and get close to it.
Back in the day when I did my first registered race, it was a 5k and I came in around 25 minutes. I got better then a whole lot worse since then.
This travesty must be purged for the good of the human race.

TIL that shoe insoles can be detached quite easily. This meant that I did not have to leave my black dress shoes at the shop for repairs. It was a simple matter of getting new insoles and throwing out the old ones.
