There is place, as we are not decided the map, but I think the bigger problem would be finding a host. Classical, can you host?

At www.weplayciv.com there is a 18-players pitboss short for 1 player ready to start - have host, etc...
At the same site, there is a game with about 10-12 players in the 800BC with one player missing - not for having bad situation or something - he just dropped. Now his civ is temporarily subestituted, so it dont fall behind. If someone is interested PM me or join the site and post there
