Armoured Warfare around the World

Polish homemade tank "Kresowiez" ("Border guard"). Events in Lviv, late 1918 - early 1919. Built in one copy on the basis of the Prague K5 motor pool, armed with 3 machine guns.

And another update for Ukraine conflict.
There is a photo of at least two active BMD-3 IFVs. They are last Soviet vehicles of BMD series, predecessor of BMD-4 and sucessor of BMD-1 and BMD-2. Only 137 units were produces, most of them said to be phased out. This photo taken somewhere in Avdeevka (if you read Forbes) or somewhere in Russia-controlled training grounds (if you read military TG channels). Actually idk why they phased out of military service when many BMD-2s are there, and BMD-1s too (I think they are upgrading to last models, BMD-2M, but I'm not sure. BMD-2 essentialy is an upgraded model of BMD-1 hull with better turret for IFV class). If you wonder why do BMD-3 look like the BMP-2 as i do then yes, they use turret from BMP-2 definetly. In game you could download models of BMD-4 both from gwendoline and Delta_Strife and name one of them as BMD-3 in editor because their hulls are similar in that small sprite. But there is no animation for 30mm gun for both models of BMD-4 so they both do not act like BMD-3.

Thank you, much appreciated.

Oh, and there is something I really really forgot about because It didn't play any significant role or was in numbers.
1) The BMO-T which means (Боевая Машина Огнемётчиков - Тяжёлая) Flamethrowers Combat Vehicle - Heavy (and Flamethrower in that case is a soldier's speciality). It is heavy APC based on a T-72 chassis, over 10 vere produced and 3 of them lost in 2022 at the begining of the conflict. It uses 2 men as crew and a squad of 7 specialist soldiers as passengers. Armament: 1x 12.7mm machinegun and 30x RPO-A Shmel (man-portable, single-use, rocket-assisted thermobaric weapon in a form of RPG launcher tube). Why it is here? To be honest, as a piece of war machinery used in conflict (even if without any success).

2)Also there were some confirmed events with IS-3 and T-34-85 in pre-2022 part of conflict (2014-2015 on Donbass, but they were just monuments disarmed and with parts of gun removed) and some T-34-85 in 2022-2023 became a part of videos but mostly as monuments with flags or.. destroyed monuments.
Little known about T-34-85 for me, but IS-3 has an interesting history (restored local monument by DPR or LPR forces, upgraded with a mounted MG turret but with disarmed tank gun, used as mobile armored car, used in at least one attack, after that it was lost due to technical or battery fail, captured by Ukraine forces, moved to Kiev and after exhibition there moved to museum).

And some vids as a proof of them livin' that time.
and

3) Unsuccessful prototype of BMPT-kind vehicle, the assault tank "Azovets" ("Man from Azov") based on T-64 hull.

4) КС-19 (KS-19) - 100mm AA gun back from 1947. Both towed and gun truck versions, spotted on Ukraine side and claimed as a trophey from russian army, but looks like they are taken from reserves as Ukraine had over 180 of them.

And some real Mad Max-style XXI century war charriots.
1) More MT-LB field conversions.
- MT-LB with 100mm T-12 or MT-12 "Rapier" AT gun. First is an Ukraine prototype, second is a field modification used by both sides.

MTLB-Rapira.jpg

- MT-LBu and MT-LB with 57mm C60 AA-gun, used by borh sides.

maxresdefault.jpg
- MT-LB with 2B9 "Vasilek" (Cornflower) - 82mm auto mortar.
Vasilek.jpg

- MT-LB with 2B9 "Vasilek" (stripped from most parts) AND aircraft block УБ-32 (UB-32) for C-5 unguided rockets. Only russian for now but idea is common.
MTLB-C-5-Vasilek.jpg

2) Armored Hybrids of Gun truck kind, they are mostly One-of-a-kind, dating back to 2014-2015 and at least one of them survived til 2022.
- Ural 4320 with installed cut off and damaged BTR-70 hull. Called a Scarabey or Scarab.

Skarabey2.jpg

- Ural 4320 with BMP-2 hull added on top, maybe from damaged BMPs too.
Ural-BMP2.jpg

- KamAZ 4310 with immobilized\damaged BMD-2 hull. It is kind of military joke as it's nickamed Razduplator is a mix of word Terminator and modern east slavic slang words mean "Someone who understands how to do something" and "Someone who make that hole bigger (in many meanings)". This one survived till 2022 conflict.

Lol that is some crazy madmax inspired stuff. I have been looking for a KS-19 model but no luck at the moment.
What makes my day is that they all are real and used in this conflict. Poor MT-LB thing which never supposed to be that universal platform. And gun trucks make me feel like old orks from 40k with all their looted and scrapped vehicles.

Felt the avatar needed an update so I gave AI a shot to see if it could create what I wanted. Amongst all the different ones I tried I got to give credit to the Microsoft AI it did the best job and for the most part not too weird unlike some of the others.

AI did that? Pretty impressive.
