Best realism earth map mod?

Hi all,

I'm searching for a mod that has a good sized earth map where I can pick a historical starting location nation like Britain and do a playthrough. I've tried realism invictus, but unfortunately the game crashes due to inherently flawed civ 4 file size limits. I've also tried Rhyse and Fall but I hate the stability mechanic. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Also, assuming you have a 64-bit machine, you can get a bit of relief on Civ IV memory issues with the attached little patch. Run it on the main BTS exe and it allows the game to read 4G of RAM instead of 2G:
